All puppies come with

- A one year health guarantee  (on the contact us page)

- Vet checked (must have a clean bill of health to be adopted)

- Up-to-date on puppy shots

     - Given at 6, 9, 12, and 15 weeks, I usually just have puppies for their 6 week shot.

- Up-to-date on de-wormings

     - Given every two weeks starting at two weeks

     - I de-worm as often as possible, but I can not guarantee that the puppy will be parasite free.  Parasites can only be treated and there is not preventative measure.

- Bag of Purina Puppy Chow

     - For the first couple of weeks please leave food and water out for your puppy at all times.  This will assure that they puppy is getting necessary calories.  Then feed 1 cup of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (let your dog guide you if there is a lot of food left over give him a little less).

     - If you would like to transition a puppy to a different food.  You must first feed the bag I give you then purchase another medium size bag to be fed at a 50:50 ratio then in decreasing amounts until the bag is completely gone.  This is done to prevent any abdominal discomfort.

- New puppy essentials (collar, leash, food/water bowels, toy)

     - not able to ship these items

- K-9 Chip will be placed in each puppy

Suggestions for Puppy Care

-Crate training

-Dogs are den animals, so a crate that is covered is a wonderful place for them to call their own.  It gives them their own space for sleep and comfort.

     -Great for potty training.

-The crate should never be used as a source of punishment.

-Obedience training is a MUST

-puppies respond best to praise and can be trained very easily--IT IS AMAZING HOW FAST THEY LEARN

-Must be consistent.  Every minute of every day is an opportunity for training, and good behavior should be expected every time.

-Example:  You should not just train your puppy for 10 minutes a day, then let it run a muck the rest of the time.  If you are working on sitting.  Work directly with him for about 15 minutes by showing him to sit by saying the word then pushing his butt to the ground gently.  Once he has sat down praise him.  Do this several times until you no longer need to place his butt down and he does it when you say or sign sit.  Now every time you come upon you dog, feed him, take him outside, take him out of his crate, or basically want him to behave tell him to sit.

-Make your puppy a FAMILY MEMBER and not just a pet.
